Self improvement sort of goes under self care and ethics - that is what it is all about. The 5th would be billing insurance in my mind. I have been billing right from the beginning of my career and the people who come in on injuries come regularly for a while. It always fills in the gaps and can keep you going.

I like the four pillars. Would a fifth be Self Improvement? If you get stagnant, your clients get bored.

Also, I have been trying to build a 'content-rich' website but I find navigating it is tough for clients - I can't seem to refine my categories to a specific enough level. Do you have any ideas on that?

I am a Chiropractor in Reno, NV and I have just started the process of incorporating massage therapy into my office. I completely agree with you that you need to charge your normal rates and not just give your services away. Giving people great service and a good massage builds value in what you do. If you regularly discount your services or give them away for free you begin to lose your credibility. Nice site and good information, thank you.

Along with book reviews it would be great to have reviews on massage training videos from someone who is truly objective. They can be expensive and you can't thumb through it before you decide to buy. Thanks for the great information.

Great site! I've been looking around for good information about marketing massage businesses online and this is the most in-depth and up-to-date (Twitter scheduling!) I've found. And it's not cluttered with popups and nasty over-marketed stuff. Thanks again!
