Writing Content for Your Website

One of the most important things you can do for your website is to write as many articles as you can about what you do and what massage does.  It is the best way to educate clients and help them to understand just what it is that you do.

Now don’t get all anxious about writing.  You don’t have to be a great writer.  You just have to know how to write down exactly what you should already be saying to client anyway.  You just have to write the way you would be talking to someone.   If you think you can’t do it or are not a writer than this is where changing your beliefs come in.

Here are some of the things you could be writing full pages about:

  • Write a full page on each type of massage that you do
  • Write a full page on various diseases, conditions or injuries that you work with
  • Write as many pages as you can about stress.
  • Write about how massage works
  • Write about how the muscles work

So the basic process for writing an article is to do some reading or research on it first.   I have collected as many articles as I can on various diseases and conditions on my website www.thebodyworker.com in the pathology section.

Lets start with the article about Stress.  The section about stress on my site is at this page near the bottom quarter of the page.  I have a few really good articles linked from that page on stress.

Get out your massage school textbooks and start reading about stress.

Think about what stress means to you and your clients.

Start writing a short article on stress.
